He is survived by: his mother Karen Montandon Thompson; his wife Tiffany Fox Cheney; his children, Kaylie Halvorsen (Tyler), Braydon Cheney, Alex Cheney, Addison Cheney and Ella Cheney; his brothers, Jason Cheney and Adam Cheney (Maria); his stepmother Janice Cheney; and his grandfather Clifford Cheney. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces & nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Utah Veterans Cemetery (17111 S Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
