David Leon Hansen Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of David Leon Hansen (Syracuse, Utah). David, born on August 28, 1938, passed away on June 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Leroy and Norma Haskell Hansen; and his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Sorensen (Kim), Mikal Hansen (Debra), Elizabeth Wiseman, Jennifer Galvan (William), Sara Forsberg (Jason) and Aren Hansen (Kelsey); his sister Charlotte Dodge (Martin); and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Hansen, Robert and Leisa Sagers. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missionary or humanitarian funds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
