He is survived by: his pet Rex; his sister Jean Marie Tibbitts of Bountiful, Utah.; his close friend John Morgan; his children, Todd (Cindy) of Utah, Tina Forsgren (Eric) of Utah, Tami of Utah, Travis of Washington and Trisha Sims (Joshua) of Alaska; his daughter-in-law Jenny Lo Matthews of Utah; his grandchildren, Race, Maya Matthews, Isabella Matthews, Andee, Matthew, Benjamin Forsgren, Shane (Trista), Isla and Cora Sims; his brother Robert; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Tibbitts, Susan, Barbara and Joan Tibbitts; his close friend Jean; and his sons, Kurtis Troy (Troy Boy) and Terry Alan Matthews (Jenny).
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Point 5th Ward (3488 W 300 N, West Point, UT 84015).
