He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Cole and May Christine Madsen Cole; his wife Carole Barbara Osborne Cole; his siblings, Lorna Johnson, Donald Cole, Kenneth Cole and Nancy Rodrigues; and his grandson John McKay Kunz.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Kunz, Matthew J. Cole (Julia), Martin J. Cole and Julie Hord (Chip). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
