He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Archie Barnes and Pareal E. Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Barnes; his sons, Timothy A. Rupert (Lanette) of Syracuse, Utah, Henry V. Rupert (Amy), Jacob A Rupert (Amber) of Elyria, Ohio, Andrew J. Rupert (Keely) of Zanesville, Ohio, Matthew A. Rupert of Clinton, Utah, Patrick E. Rupert of West Point, Utah, Robert A. Rupert (Ian), Arizona, Nicholas W. Rupert Harrisville (Bri) and Alex J. Rupert of Elyria, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Burns, Susannah Call and Rick Call.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Syracuse City Cemetery (1250 S 1000 W, Syracuse, UT 84075).
