Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Trevor Charles leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elva Lynn Hansen; and his sister Janay Hansen. He is survived by: his husband Jacob Strain; his father Arden Hansen; and his siblings, Courtney Grimnes, Randi Wood, Melissa Hansen and Shaun Hansen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations made in Trevor's honor to The Trevor Project (https://give.thetrevorproject.org), an organization striving to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people.
