He is survived by: his father Horace Newton; his children, Janine Hicks of Gonzales and Randy Hicks (Steffanie) of Syracuse, Utah.; his grandchildren, Payton L. Hicks of Washington State, Carter R. Hicks (Lexi) of New Jersey and Brinlee J. Hicks of Syracuse, Utah.; and his siblings, Edman (Mary), Bernice Schupp of Texas, Robert Hicks (Janet) of Texas, Earl Hicks, Hazel Henserling, Carlton Hicks, Harvey Hicks, Maurine Nixon, Arthur Hicks and Beatrice Hux. He is also survived by Dad is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
