We bid farewell to William Joseph McGowan (Syracuse, Utah), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 27, 2025 at the age of 76. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. McGowan, Sr. and Jean Sterner McGowan; his siblings, Ernie and Bobby McGowan; and his niece Kiley Munroe.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie May Block; his daughter Carrie Irwin (William); his grandchildren, Riley of Bountiful, UT and Addie of Bountiful, UT; his son Chris McGowan (Kate); his grandchildren, Madison, Tai, Hannah, Colin and Monroe; his great grandchild Monroe; his grandparents, Gianni and Gillian McGowan; his sisters, Elaine Brillhart and Nancy of North Carolina; and his brother-in-law Bill Green of North Carolina.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Russon Brothers Mortuary (1585 W 300 S, Syracuse, UT 84075). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Events Center (1068 W 350 S, Syracuse, UT 84075).
