We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 82, Jessie Ellen Nye Shirk (Tabiona, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erycel Nye and Ellen Clara Rhoades Nye; and her siblings, Allen E. Nye, Thomas Arlen Nye, Norma (Earl Bates), Shirlene (LeeRoy Richardson) and Susan Kovick.
She is survived by: her children, Jana Anderson (Scott), Blaine Shirk (Kimberli) and Ralph Herbert "Butch" Shirk (Melody); her sister Mary Sweat (Wesley); and her siblings-in-law, Kay Geddes, Freddie Nye and Martin Kovick. She is also survived by her children and their spouses; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2285 S. Daniels Rd, Heber City, UT 84032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Tabiona Cemetery (5077 N Tabby Ln, Tabiona, UT 84072).
