He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Clays and Helen Barton. He is survived by: his wife Donna; and his daughters, Kerrie and Kelly. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDougal Funeral Home (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
