She was predeceased by : her parents, John Leslie Anderson and Ruth Ada Gardner. She is survived by : her husband Orson Eugene Powell; her children, Larry Powell (Christine), Gayle Nell (Jack), Trent Powell (Cindee), Kevin Powell (Keelee), Cheryl Sorensen (Blaine) and Michael Powell (Shirley Wilkey); and her brother-in-law Richard Hight. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
