He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Ellen Baxter and Hughie Lee Evans; his siblings, Larry Dean Evans, Margaret Evans, Hughie B. Evans and Marcia Ann Evans; and his nephew Victor Eugene Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; and his children, Kevin Evans (Diane), Kelley Evans (Paula), Gene Evans and Tricia Ruiz. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the McDougal Funeral Home - C/D (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
