It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Thorup (Taylorsville, Utah), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thorup and Sharon Thorup; and his sister Sydnee Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Tina Ann Larisch; and his children, Meagan, Kurt (Chelsea), Sarah Swan (Alex), Peter (Melanie), Stephen (ShaeLyn), James (Kim), Annika Lawrence (Quinn) and Elizabeth Romer (Isaac). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valois Chapel (4986 Valois Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84129).
