We announce the death of Larry Vernon Thomas (Taylorsville, Utah), who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 88. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas and Vera Thomas; and his in-laws, Art and Thelma. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gibson Thomas; his children, Brent Thomas (Joni), Jodi Kelser (Rob), Scott Thomas (Kjeresti) and Shari Miller (Karl); his grandchildren, Kelsey Acker (Steve), Jordan Thomas (Emily), Kimie Clawson (Preston), Bryant Kesler (Janalyce) and Abbey Randall (Bretton); and his siblings, JoAnn Waddell (Kidd), Phil Thomas (Pat) and Brenda Keeley (Michael).
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church (1480 W Atherton Dr, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
