He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Leslie Cowan and Doris Whitehead Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Mina VanDongen (Miesje); his children, Rex (Tammy), Corby (Randy), David (Cindy), Doug (Billie), Robert and Coralee; and his sisters, Kay and Colleen (Tom). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren: 16 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bernina Ward (3045 Bernina Dr, Taylorsville, UT 84129). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (17111 S Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
