He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Pettley and Elizabeth Carlson Pettley; his former wife Leah Chole Dalley; and his siblings, Daniel Pettley, Bonnie Allred (Danny), Julia Blacksher (Homer) and Kathleen Pettley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kathy Proctor (Jon), Donald Pettley Jr., Leah Ann Dellinger (Ford), Aaron Pettley (Denise), Mathew Pettley (Allyson), Shayna Johnson (Devin) and Brycie Downey (Blake); and his siblings, Richard Sr. (Lila), John Sr. and Debra Hintze (Vance). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In an abundance of caution, the family requests masks to be worn and social distancing to be observed.
