He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Vorwaller and Bernice Vorwaller (Johnson); his former life partner Inge Fleischer; his son Alan; and his brothers, Darrell and Blaine Vorwaller.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Bourdon; his children, Christine Miller (Tom), Kathy Vorwaller and Stevan Vorwaller (Tami); his stepchildren, Karrie Prochko (Steve), David Bourdon (Alicia), Stephen Bourdon (Megan) and Mandy England (Bill); and his siblings, Wes, Terry Vorwaller and LuAnn VonHatten. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

This is Donald's wife Karen's second time enduring such an enormous loss and on behalf of Celeste (Alan's daughter and Donald's granddaughter) and I, we pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort Karen and all of Donald's loved ones during this difficult time.”
