He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Workman and Julia Workman; his brother James Workman; and his brother-in-law John Martinez. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Martinez, Melvin Workman (Debbie), Frank Workman (Peggy) and Julie Workman; and his sister-in-law Lana Workman.
