He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shubert and Ellen Shubert; and his grandson Justin Shubert. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, David Shubert (Shelly), Camille Shubert and Karen Shubert (Mike); and his close friend Butch Niesporek. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Tooele City Cemetery (361 S 100 E, Tooele, UT 84074). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tooele Moose Lodge (1100 E Vine St, Tooele, UT 84074).
