My favorite memories of Roy take me back to Grandpa Lloyd's horseshoe lake cabin and Roy's classic mini bike taking on the trails and sand dunes. He was kinder than he ought to have been to us unruly Kelly kids, and generous with his time and with his wheels. Although I never did make the trip to Utah, I am thankful to have memories of him here in his home town.
