She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew E. Lassen and Evelyn Lassen; and her great grandchild Liam Shields. She is survived by: her husband David Duncan Young; her daughters, Teresa Lamkin (Chris) and Debbie Cavaness (Mike); her grandchildren, Patric Shields (Katie), Collin Shields, Madison Cavaness and Kiefer Cavaness; and her great grandchildren, Talan and Max Shields.
