He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredric Tolaf Evensen and Eliza Ellen Evensen; his wife Janice Irene Garner; and his son Melvin Lee Evensen. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Dawn Quinney (Scott), Patti Irene Madole (Rudy), Roger Paul Evensen (Valerie) and Dennis Ray Evensen (Holly).
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Skyline Church (777 Skyline Dr, Tooele, UT 84074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
