He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Lougy Nix and Thelda Elizabeth McBride; his son Kyle; and his siblings, Dorothy, Gloria, William and Leoid.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Pauline Maxfield of Clover; his sons, Steven Nix (Stacy) of Bluffdale, Gary Nix (Jaylene) of Rigby and Roger Nix (Julie) of Wellsville; and his sisters, Marlene and Karen. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tate Mortuary (110 S Main St, Tooele, UT 84074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
