He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Johnson; his children, Mark Johnson (Joan) of Kaysville, Utah, Vicki Riedel (Terry) of Erie, Colorado, Karen Richards (Jerry) of Tooele, Utah and Donald Johnson of Tooele, Utah; and his sister Donna Larsen of Midvale, Utah. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
