She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Mecham and Beth Mecham; her husband Kenneth F. Rice Jr.; her sister Tammy; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Rice (Kathy) and Anthony "Tony" Rice (Sherrie); her sisters, Linda and Sharon; and her grandchildren, Collin, Shelby (Devin), Kami, Alec, Brad, Dallin, Cole and Sheridan (Dylan). She is also survived by her children, sisters, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Kitty Haven Sanctuary or to the National Down Syndrome Society.
