He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Stander and Jean Stander; his brothers, Kevin and Ryan Stander; and his grandson Wyatt Sorensen.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Julie Barnett (Chad), Janalee, Tami Sorensen (Jared), Trisha Marker (Matt) and David Stander (Tara); and his siblings, Clive Stander (Linda), Kim Stander and Desiree Stander. He is also survived by 26 Grandchildren and 24 Great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tremonton Stake Center (660 N 300 E, Tremonton, UT 84337).
