We announce the death of Glenn Alvin Smith in Tremonton, Utah, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 94. Glenn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Glenn will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Glenn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Waldamer Smith and Edith Nellie Jordan; his siblings, Donna Smith Packer, Robert William Smith and Ronald Julius Smith; and his grandson John Charles Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Emily Fawson; and his children, Daniel Smith (Angela), Emily Ann Jolley (Blaine), Theodore "Ted" Smith (Wendy) and Esther McHenry (Kenneth). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tremonton South Stake Center (1150 S Tremont St, Tremonton, UT 84337).
