With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janette Sachie (Moriyama) Petersen (Tremonton, Utah), born in Brigham City, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shigeki Moriyama and Mary Yoshiko Sato Moriyama; her son Brooks; and her grandchildren, Braeden, Ally and Gabe.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Petersen; her children, Cori-Dawn Petersen (John Hill), Shannon James Petersen and Trevor Blake Petersen (Olya); and her daughters-in-law, Amy Nishikawa and Jenney Tenney. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Missionary Fund of your wards.
