Jerry left this world on September 25, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Earl and Florene Davis Buchanan; his wife Barbara; his grandchildren, Sarah Jane Van Komen and Casey Brent Kirkland; his great grandchildren, Belle Sarah Johnson and Cyle John Van Komen; and his siblings, Forrest, Maxine Garn, Deane Wilcox, Belle Molloy and Gloria White.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Van Komen (Robert), Mary Kay Kirkland (Brent), Bryan Buchanan (Carrie) and Melissa Archibald (Bret); and his brother David Earl. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tremonton South Stake Center (1150 S Tremont St, Tremonton, UT 84337). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
