As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Richard may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Thomas Oliver; and his daughter Stephanie Hope Oliver. He is survived by: his children, David Oliver (Jodi), Kelly Oliver (Melinda) and James Oliver (Kristin); his grandchildren, Dustin Carter (Chelsey), Hope Groesbeck (Ty) and Toni Ryan (Rebecca); Marilyn B. Oliver. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sego Lily Ward (880 N 700 E, Lehi, UT 84043).
