Chase Hunter Kennicker Obituary

Chase Hunter Kennicker was born in Yakima Washington on October 18, 2002 to Donald and Linda Kennicker. He was the youngest child out of 9 children.

Chase was a happy child, starting at a young age he loved to laugh and make others laugh with his crazy antics. He and his siblings and mom lived in Texas, Wisconsin and finally settled in Myton, Utah in 2007. On November 23, 2010, Chase moved into the home of Shauna Jo Eves as her Foster Son. He Graduated from Uintah High School with the Class of 2021. Chase played many sports including baseball, soccer, basketball, pickleball, golf, wrestling, flag football, tackle football, track and field and mountain biking. Chase was a good athlete who lettered in Wrestling, Track and field and Mountain Biking. He also tried out and made the Men's Choir in 10th grade and enjoyed participating with this group. The group placed at state, and he wore the pin with pride. Chase joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 16, 2012. He later was ordained as a Deacon, Teacher, and Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. He also participated in the Boy Scouts of America. He acquired his first real job working at Wingers, later he worked at Champion Car wash in Vernal.

After Graduation he moved to Salt Lake City where he lived with his Mom Linda, while preparing to enter Job Corp. While in SLC he worked at Burger King. He went to Job Core and decided his real passion was making people laugh. So, he left Job Corp and moved back in with his mother, Linda. He started working at SuperSonic Car Wash and was saving up for a car. On his way to work on April 23, 2022 Chase was in a car accident where he hit a power pole. Chase passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.

He loved to joke around and make people laugh. He had many, many friends and family who he loved dearly as they did him. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He is survived by his mother, Linda (Lucero) Kennicker, father Donald Kennicker, foster mother Shauna Jo Eves, siblings; Angel Lucero, Jeffery (Brianna) MacDonald, Chance Eves Kennicker, Debra (Watts) Kennicker, Jodi Kennicker, Shade Kennicker, Devin Kennicker, Paige Kennicker, and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather's; Raymond Lucero, Albert Eastern, grandmother's; Kate Jones, Frances Eastern, foster grandmother; Carol Jean Eves, foster aunt; Sondra Meeks, foster cousin; Jessica Warnick and Skylar Vernon.
