He was predeceased by: his parents, Don E. Gardiner and Eva E. White Gardiner; his brother Tommy E. Gardiner; his spouse Shirley Kalka; and his brother-in-law Mathew Merz.
He is survived by: his sisters, Evelyn Barney (Vernal), Lisa Williamson (Vernal) and Cathy Walker; his children, Heath Gardiner (Missouri) and Summer Farnsworth (Missouri); and his brother-in-law Bryan Kalka (Vernal). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
