Emma Slaugh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Slaugh (Vernal, Utah), who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Jackson and Aretta Jackson; her husband Timmy Doyle; her in-laws, Lyle and Ruby Slaugh; and her sisters, Shirley Jackson Smith and Marilyn Jackson McCurry.
She is survived by: her children, Deanna Hineman (Troy), Scott Slaugh (Renee), Kim Kobernick, Jill Nielson (Charles) and Craig Slaugh (Jessica); and her siblings, Marva Kelly (Dick) of California, Brent Jackson (Kathy) and Linda Johnson (Errol) of Vernal. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davis Chapel (3990 S 1500 E, Vernal, UT 84078). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vernal Memorial Park (1700 S Vernal Ave, Vernal, UT 84078).
