It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Caldwell of Vernal, Utah, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Caldwell and June Ross Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Dalton Blake Caldwell (Ashley Shiling) of Clinton, UT and Tayler Alyse Fisher (Hyrum) of Greeley, CO; her grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Royal Caldwell, Madilynn, Braxton and Ella Shilig; and her siblings, Phyllis Jones (Darrell) of Vernal, UT, Leslie Jackson (Rich) of Rock Springs, WY and Calvin Caldwell (Susan) of Surprise, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel (250 N 200 W, Vernal, UT 84078). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery (300 S 3500 W, Vernal, UT 84078).
