She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Lee and Velma Leah Smuin Boren; her sisters-in-law, Nita Boren, Joyce Boren and Lana Jeane Boren; and her siblings, Kent, Lonnie, Jerry Boren and LaRae Bristol.
She is survived by: her pet Inkabod; her children, Becky (Lloyd McNeel), Greg Slaugh, Janna (Todd Merkley), Todd Slaugh and Scott (Sue Slaugh); and her siblings, Johnnie (Debbie Boren), Jim (Kelly Boren), Mike (Renae Boren), Ellen (Wayne Watkins) and Lee (Elaine Boren). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
