He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Pace (Jim), Brent Hales (Darcy), Suzanne Hales (Audrey) and Sally Atkinson (Cornell); and his brothers, Don, Mark and Jay. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
