He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlotte Brakey and Jerry Brakey; his wife Julia; and his children, Jennifer (Scott), Jessica (Joshua), Jack Michael (Shontel) and Jason (Lacey).
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 800 W St, Vernal, UT 84078). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maeser Fairiview Cemetery (300 S 3500 W, Vernal, UT 84078).
