It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Merkely (Vernal, Utah), who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Gerard Beukers; her father-in-law Glen Merkley; her nephews, Brandon Beukers and Robert Merkley; and her friend Chris Simmons.
She is survived by: her mother Betty Jean Beukers; her husband Chad Merkley; her children, Heather Meierand (Mark), Derek (Katie), Kyle (Courtney) and Devin Merkley (Nicole); her mother-in-law Charlene Merkley; and her siblings, David, Robert, Brian, Steven Beukers and Helen Morris.
