We bid farewell to Kathryn Kitchen of Vernal, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 16, 2025 at the age of 69. Kathryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Edward Laga and Elva Darlene Laga (Bunnell); her brother Kelly; and her son-in-law Michael Barrus. She is survived by: her husband Boyd McKee Kitchen; her children, Nathan Kitchen (Lauren), Michelle Barrus, Elisa Caldwell (Devin), David Kitchen (Jaclyn), Spencer Kitchen (Brenna), Kelli O'Dair (Mark) and Rachel Kitchen (Zinnia); her brother Scott (Jani); her sister-in-law Debbie; and her brother Barry (Caprice). She is also survived by many in-laws, nephews, and nieces, cousins, and friends.
Alternatively, she would be honored by any who would like to donate to the LDS Humanitarian Aid Fund or the Hope Lodge in Salt Lake City, help those in their own community, give blood, learn something new, teach someone a skill, or do their own thing in any way, even and especially when it is different from others.
