It is with sadness that the passing of Linda Jo Roberts (Vernal, Utah) is shared. Linda, born on June 29, 1948, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vergie Swain (Cook) and Garn Swain; her brother Doug Swain; and her aunt Nadean Carpenter. She is survived by: her spouse Gale Rasmussen; her children, Tracie Hansen of Orem, UT and Chuck Rasmussen of Vernal, UT.; her grandchildren, Cassie O'Connor (Ry O'Connor) of Plevna, MT and Gabbi Rasmusssen of Vernal; and her great grandchildren, Odell O'Connor, Capp O'Connor, Connor and Sadie O'Connor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 800 W St, Vernal, UT 84078).
