With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Tanner (Vernal, Utah), born in Roosevelt, Utah, who passed away on April 28, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tanner and Romania Tanner (Pierce); his children, Gary and Treasa; his grandchildren, Terry and Gary; and his siblings, Blaine, Gale (Pete), Jackie and Lorraine Allred.

He is survived by: his former wife Thelma Virgina Jenkins; his children, Rory and Valarie; his grandsons, Deven and Brandon; and his sister Mildred Betts.

Max was in grade school at Myton and at high school in Rosevelt High and Union High. I well remember his wedding . In fact that's where I met Elaine Jenkins and had several dates with her.
