It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monta Rae Showalter (Vernal, Utah), who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamond Caldwell and Viola Caldwell; her husband Robert Showalter (Bud); her siblings, Markel, Raymond, Donald Caldwell and Elva Searle; and her grandson Brandon Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Shanna Campbell, Daryl Richardson and Brent Richardson; her siblings, Arlo Caldwell and Christine Smallwood; and her nieces, Emily Christiansen and Ellen Kiever (Terry). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
