She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Glen and Thelma Oaks; her grandson Rowdy Prescott; her son Gary Gardner; and her siblings, Dora Firth and Gail Oaks.

She is survived by : her spouse Claryn Lee Gardner; her children, Debbie Prescott (Elvis) of Neola, Utah, Lesa Morrison (Rod) of Vernal, Utah, Jeff Gardner (Cindy) of Vernal, Utah, Janet McCormick of Evanston, Wyoming, Judy Barton (David) of Vernal, Utah and Cristy Crookston (Jake) of West Jordan; and her brother GaLynn Oaks (Lila). She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great -Great Grandchild.

“To the Gardner family, I was lucky enough to grow up with you all, Gary, Jeff, Debbie, Lisa, and Janet. I went into the USAF in 1983 so have no history with Judy and Chris? Still, I was very lucky to know your mom, Naomi. Since I was again lucky enough to grow up with My best friend in the world, Jeff, I also had to great opportunity to know your mother. Naomi was a woman of great strength and character, she had to be such with the life, children and husband given. I loved her as if my own mom.”
