He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gardner and Hazel Gardner; his wife Marie Emma Workman Gardner; his son Jeff Gardner; and his siblings, Joan Gardner Smuin, Rosalee Gardner Rowley, Kay Gardner Jackson and Ted Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Guy Lee Gardner (Sue), Rick L. Gardner (Mary), Ronald Ned Gardner (Marsha), Scott L. Gardner and Angi Mulville (Andrew); and his siblings, Don Gardner, Beth Pfiefer and Lana Jean Boren.
