She is survived by: her parents, Ronnie Merkley and Connie Merkley; her husband James Lee Klaus; her brother Lloyd Merkley (JoBeth); her sibling's children, Chase and Hunter; her brother-in-law John Perez (Jodene); her sibling's children, Jake, Paige and Saelee; her great-nephew Joshua Mathew Beutler (MaryEllen); her daughter Crystal Bourquin; her grandchildren, Dominic and Eliana; her great grandchildren, JJ Kleinberg (Maxine) and Freya Rose; and also, Aidan, Cora, John, Ruby, Jacobie, Chance, Ryanna and Cali.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Rock Point Cemetery (2250 W 2500 N, Vernal, UT 84078).
