With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynette Asay of Vernon, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Marchant and Elizabeth Marchant; her siblings, Dixie Steffensen, Brent Marchant (Judi) and Marian King (Bill); her brother-in-law Richard Franklin; and her grandson Gage Rossman.
She is survived by: her husband Lee Asay; her son Shane Rossman; her granddaughter Trista Heywood (Tucker); her great grandchildren, Ryndinn, Rykus and Memphis; her sister Kathie Franklin; her stepsons, Todd Asay (Cyd) and Scott Asay (Sheri); and her friend Lynette. She is also survived by 5 children and 5 grandchildren; as well as cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
