He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Avor Carter and Elva Bigelow; and his siblings, Jesse Keith, Velma Anderson and Carol Jean Rawlins.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jeffrey Don Carter (Debbie) of Spokane, WA, Lori Carter (Kevin), Johnson of Cameron Park, CA, Derek Kneil Carter (Mindy) of Cameron Park, CA, Ross Anthony Carter (Brenda) of Redmond, WA, Kelly Ann Carter Zufelt (Brian) of Rocklin, CA, Jennifer Carter (Nate), Warner of Springville, UT and Benjamin Hammond Carter (Jana) of Fredericksburg, VA; and his sister Myrna Carter Laird. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
