He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Stewart and Esther Louise Kilmer Lucas. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his children, David S. Lucas, Lorye L. Simmons (Curtis), Jared A. Lucas (Nicole), Amy M. Lucas, Nathan M. Lucas, Mariah Hering (Wade), Melissa A. Lemieux, Britney E. Lucas (Sale), Abby L. Lucas (Tomas) and Stephen C. Lucas (Star); his siblings-in-law, Kathleen J. King (Fred) and Robert P. Jeppesen (Susan); his nephews, Justin Morris (Christina) and Aaron Klein (Ashley); and his niece Shelly B. Isom (Chuck). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mark asked that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at https://www.cff.org which was near and dear to his heart with having a granddaughter with the disease.
