He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl and Sylva Jones Stapley; his significant other Patricia; his brother Dee El; his siblings-in-law, Ray, Ila Rae Stephenson and Carola Stephenson (John); and his granddaughter Sylva Stapley (Brad).
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Anne Mitchell (Andrew), Bradley Dean Stapley (Donna) and Bret Alan Stapley; his brothers, Bryce (Pat) and Mike Stapley (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Norma Stapley (Dee El) and John Stephenson (Carola).
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel (288 W St George Blvd, St. George, UT 84770). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the Cedar City Cemetery (685 N Main St, Cedar City, UT 84721).
