He is survived by: his daughters, Madeleine "Madi" and Katherine "Kati" Nielsen; his sisters, Caprus Hotze (Klaus) and Callette Nielsen; his niece Melissa Krywult (Lorenz); and his nephew Jayson Hotze. He is also survived by extended family and neighbors.
